Competition Venues

The National Poetry Slam will have 11 awesome venues for the competition, including Preliminaries (seven venues for Tuesday – Thursday, August 9-11), Semi-Finals (four venues on Friday, August 12) and Finals (one venue on Saturday, August 13). Please review the Venue Map for details on how to get around.

Here are the details for each competition venue. Teams in the semi-finals and in the Finals will be announced on the Results page.


Semi-Final Competition Venues
Shows at all venues run on Friday, August 12, with doors opening at 7pm and show from 8pm-10pm. All shows are $10 per person or free with a Festival Pass. Advance ticketing is now closed.

Group Piece Finals Venue

Team Finals Competition Venue
Show takes place at 7pm SHARP on Saturday, August 13. Tickets are $25.

Preliminary Competition Venues
Shows at all venues run on Tuesday, August 9; Wednesday, August 10; and Thursday, August 11. The first slam runs from 7pm-9pm and the second runs from 9pm-11pm. Admission is $5, or free with a Festival Pass.
